Deer Management Plans & Wildlife Consultation

P.D Deer management and Pest Control can create specific management plans which will consider all aspects of your land needs and the requirements for deer and wildlife on your land, this may also provide ways to make extra income and diversify. We also provide consultation on most wildlife species which may be present on your land, this includes habitat improvement and management approaches to suit certain wildlife, plants and trees.

Pest & Predator Control

We provide an expert pest and predator management service and cover a wide range of species and control methods as well as guidance on ways to protect your land, livestock and crops from damage by pests & predators.

Fox Control - Both reactive and proactive and we aim to be on site to deal with your problem in the shortest time period possible

Population Counting

We are able to offer deer counting services to our clients to gain a better understanding of the population & population densities, sex breakdown and species on the ground. we will normally carry out a count when creating a deer management plan as part of the service unless recent count data is available. Counting also plays a vital role in being able to work out cull numbers. We either count by eye or with aid of thermal depending on the type of ground.

Fencing & Damage Assesements

Our wildlife managers can carry out site visits to carry out damage assesments as well as fencing checks. The services we offer in relations to this are as follows,

Full site damage assesments with mapping for clients to see the areas of damage and levels of damage.
Breakdown of the main herbivore / pests causing issues on site as well as management approaches we can provide as a solution.
Full site fencing checks to ensure deer fences continue excluding deer.
Minor repairs and fixing any holes, watergates, access gates or any areas allowing deer / pest species access to site.
We have a trusted relationship with a forestry contractor who covers all aspects of tree surgery, ride clearances, brush clearances, clearing of fence lines and overhanging branches.
